Perry Contracting Builds Folchi's Expanded Anderson Township Store

Folchi's Tuxedos & Menswear, a Cincinnati institution since 1973, selected Perry Contracting to build its new Anderson Township store. The project is a full interior buildout of a roughly 2,000-square-foot space at 7454 Beechmont Ave, just across the plaza from the current location. It nearly doubles the footprint Folchi's has operated on the east side for the past 17 years.

Folchi's chose Perry based on a longstanding relationship and shared roots in the Greater Cincinnati community.

“I've known the Perry family for many years, and I trusted them to understand both the history of Folchi's and where we want to take the brand next. They've been a collaborative partner throughout the process.” said owner Jay Sowar, who purchased the 50-year-old business in 2024.

Built from two combined retail parcels, the space features open ceilings with exposed roof structure and a wide floor plan. Plans include five fitting rooms, one ADA-compliant, a dedicated retail area and expanded back-of-house space. The current store stays open throughout construction.

The expanded location gives Folchi's more room for groups and families during wedding and prom seasons, along with a stronger selection of premium menswear. “The new Anderson location gives us the space to do that.” Sowar said of the brand's evolution into a broader menswear destination.

As Folchi's commercial general contractor, Perry managed the project from preconstruction through the interior fit-out. Design for the renovation is led by RSL Architecture. Construction began June 2026 with completion targeted for early fall 2026.
